Sandra Kjarstad Bloom had an early career writing for radio and television before going into non-profit management. She holds a BA from the University of Minnesota, and an MA from Augsburg University. A life-long writer, Getting There is her second novel, which is a sequel to Waiting to Believe. She lives with her wife, Colleen Breen, in her hometown of Minneapolis.
